My friend Sean and I hurried out on the 13th to catch these aurora and I nearly had a heart attack because of it. We had found a spot to photograph away from the city glow out on our highway. We saw a good clearing next to the river and tried to take advantage of it. Unfortunately, the snow was waist deep the whole way through. I couldn’t slow down until I reached my desired location for a good composition. This only showed how poor of shape I’m in. Oy.
